My Filipino Baby!

I love my Filipino baby. Ernest Tubb released this tune in 1946. It's as true today as ever. The only thing better than one Filipino baby is two. Three is even better.

This song, of course, is about all those Navy seamen who wanted to bring a Filipina home after WWII. And, why not? A Filipina is going to love her man for what he is, not what she would like him to be, and she'll be a devoted wife and mother.

It's corny! Sure. And, that's the great thing about it.
