6:40 Treo 650 alarm sounds. I’ve been awake for 10 minutes. Roommate guy walks past my bedroom door on way to bathroom.
6:41 Say Lord’s Prayer for Myrna. At end, say “God bless you, Myrna.”
6:42 Get out of bed. Eat banana given to me by the Karaoke Queen. Scratch in various places.
6:43 Check e-mail on Treo 650. Also check stats on Typepad and Truth Laid Bear. Wonder whether the Queen is coming to visit me this weekend.
6:44 Head upstairs to other bathroom to take a pee. Briefly check out roommate’s “Seven Habits of Effective People.”
6:47 Sit and wait for roommate to finish his shower. Since he uses up all the hot water, I normally take a bath in the Jacuzzi at night. Last night, I hit the hot tub and the shower at the gym.
6:55 Roommate exits bathroom. Head to bathroom. Use washcloth to wipe fog from mirror. Take Lipitor before I forget. Use toothpicks to massage my gyms as dentist prescribed. Brush teeth. Swish and gargle with mouthwash. Wash face. Apply face lotion given to me by the Karaoke Queen. Massage out the wrinkles like she said I should. Take stock. Not bad for an old fart.
7:02 Get dressed. Stick work IDs in shirt pocket. Check jeans pocket for cash and coins. Stuff Treo 650 in pocket of jacket. Make sure I’ve got the car keys. Make bed (sort of) and clean up the room a bit.
7:06 Return to bathroom to brush hair. Jam hat on my head. Check mirror to see that everything is in place.
7:10 Close bedroom door. Walk up spiral staircase to second floor. Throw banana peel in garbage. Exit.
I agree cartoons shouldn't start riots but I wouldn't like to try showing one about Jesus and Mary Magdelaine heading off into the distance arm in arm with their offspring in the midwest. Or on your president's back porch, religion's a wierd thing, it's made people massacre and mutilate for centuries and been used to control for too long by too many.
Anyway how come all the main religions agree to one higher being then go to war over how to worship that being ?
Better to stay away from it all and be safe.
