The building boom continues in Jersey City. This apartment building is being erected right on top of the PATH station, the subway stop. Once the World Trade Center is rebuilt, prices will go through the roof. But, it’s a quick commute to New York City.
Getting in ain’t cheap, with a two bedroom condo starting at $400,000.
If you’ve really got the bucks to spend, check out the construction along the Hudson River, with condos offering a view of the Manhattan skyline.
Of course, when you attend a party in the city, you’ve got to tell people that you live in Jersey City.
Jersey City is a favorite landing spot for Indian, Vietnamese and Filipino immigrants, many of whom arrive well fixed for cash. Great ethnic restaurants!
Thanks to Steven for stopping by my Piano shop/studio and for the great picture.
It was great meeting you.
All the best.
