Oklahoma!

I’ve added a new friend to my blogroll, Dustbury, who blogs from the apparently fictional town of Dustbury, Oklahoma. I gather that the “dust” refers to the dustbowl days of the Great Depression.

He has been a critic of Harleys, Cars, Girls & Guitars… but, what the hell! We believe in loving our neighbors at this blog.  We even love Human Bacon. Well, as the old saying goes:  “Jesus loves you and I’m trying.”

Dustbury lead me to this test of political leanings. My scores:

Actually, "Dustbury" is, I think, the perfect name for a housing development in an Oklahoma suburb: it has historical precedent (yes, the Dust Bowl) and it has a vague English-countryside air to it.

Then I moved out of the suburbs and into the Big Town, but this struck me as no reason to change the domain name.
