In Jersey, prices rose to about $3.69 per gallon a few days after Katrina. In some places in Jersey, prices have declined to $2.79.
Well, at least there’s a site that gives you a head’s up on gas prices, GasBuddy. Lowest price in Jersey: Score Gas in Lyndhurst at $2.59. Lowest in Portland, Oregon, where I’ll be tomorrow: Arco at $2.55.
Kas Log suggests that we should “Drive a Hummer, Save the Planet.” Tongue in cheek, of course.
AltEng considers both sides in “After the storms, have oil and gasoline prices peaked?” God, I hope so. Filling up the Expedition costs about, gasp, 78 bucks.
The Autoblog reports that “Sagging SUV sales affecting Ford turnaround plan.”
