A couple of days ago, I blogged about working Smart Cars. Here's another one, this time carrying the ladders of a window cleaner on its roof.
Note the green leaf on the side of the car. This is Greenwich Village, after all, so you've got to profess green values. What could possibly be the green angle of window washing? God alone knows.
I wonder who installed the rack for the ladders on the top of the car? And, what's the reach of the ladders? The car must impose some limits on this. Can the window washer guy reach the third floor?

I think the already fuel efficient Smart for two will soon become even more stingy with the petrol when start-stop technology is employed fleet-wide beginning in October. The start-stop technology, which is called "micro hybrid" by Smart, works by cutting off the engine during braking when the vehicle speed drops below five mph. According to Smart, the engine restarts immediately when the brake is released and the technology will result in a fuel savings of 8 percent, bringing consumption in the US EPA cycle to about 44 mpg on the highway and 36 mpg in the city.... Hi, they washed my windows a few times. Believe it or not, I actually called them after seeing their smart car a few times in my neighborhood. I'm assuming they work all over so the green leaf is probably for all NY residents not only the Greenwich village crowd. I've read on their site that their cleaning solutions are biodegratable and free of perfumes, dyes and alcohol. They are affiliated with the Nature Concervancy and they plant a tree everytime they clean someone's windows.
P.S. And yes, that ladder is mighty long!

That's a fully-customized car! Hmm, you should've waited for the window cleaner to use the car or even just the stairs. Well, thanks for sharing! :D
