Woodstock Film Festival... Leftist Propaganda Bash

I paid no attention to the Woodstock Film Festival because I knew that it was just another extreme leftist propaganda bash. Somehow, I thought that artists would consider this a questionable enterprise.

Along comes The Woodstock Times’ review of the event and, God help us, the comrades at the Times are proud of the fact that the festival makes no pretense about being an indoctrination and propaganda clinic. In fact, it appears that the festival was a campaign rally for Obama.

I guess it’s a good thing that somebody has figured out how to make money feeding propaganda to the extreme left. But, you’d think that artists would find it a little dicey to be involved in this nonsense.

Congratulations to the organizers of the festival for staging a successful event. What does it say about this purported arts community that it thinks that a propaganda gathering of the extreme left reflects glory on Woodstock?

I gather I didn’t miss a thing by not attending. Attendees spent the weekend repeating the party line to each other, trotting out the same old weepy victimization stories, and comparing Bush to Hitler. In short, the festival (I guarantee you) wasn’t just a propaganda extravaganza, it was the same predictable bore as any other Woodstock “cultural” event. You didn’t have to attend to know what was said and done. No surprises.

At least, in the Soviet Union, people had to be led to their ideological indoctrination sessions at the point of a gun. Our comrades volunteer! And pay for it!

You have no idea what you are talking about, and as such, are dangerous. You admit you weren't there.... but you pass judgement and proclaim your superiority after reading a newspaper story. This was no political event...if people mentioned any of the candidates they did so on their own time. Get a life and stop contributing to the negatism.
"you didn't have to attend to know what was said and done"
What a dope!

What's the danger, Mr. Truth?
