“What in the hell is that?” I asked myself.
I drove around the block and found a parking space so that I could take a few pictures. Behold… the T-Rex. Tell me, is this thing a car or a motorcycle?
The T-Rex is a three wheeled vehicle. It is an inverted trike, with the twin wheels in front on a car type suspension. The enclosure suggests that it is a car. Retail price: $44,000. Yikes!
The T-Rex is very fast, courtesy of its light weight and its 1200cc engine. But, it does sport a roll bar, so it’s not entirely a suicide machine.
Manufactured by the Campagna Corporation in the Province of Quebec (Canada), the T-Rex has been around since 1994.
The neighborhood kids gathered round to gawk at this car/bike hybrid. Click on the pictures and follow the links. Take a look at the picture of the huge rear tire. I don’t think I’d like to own one of these… that is, unless I win PowerBall.
