Upcoming Attractions

I hadn’t checked out the stats at my Shouting Thomas! site for some time.  My tribute to Myrna is the front page.  I can barely stand to look at her pictures. She was so very beautiful, inside and outside.  My days on this earth are numbered, honey.  I will be seeing you again soon!

To my surprise, readers are listening to the songs posted on the weblog and they’re checking out the music site.

I haven’t put up a new song for a long time, but that’s about to change.  On Monday (or Tuesday, depending on my schedule), I’ll post one or two new songs.  “Hello Strangers” is a new/old song.  I wrote it 25 years ago. “Sinner Blues” is a very new song.  Yes, I am a sinner.

This morning, I had a great idea for a new song, “The Last Straight Man.”  Since she met Ricky, the Karaoke Queen has joked that I should go both ways.  Not a chance.  I plan to be the last straight man in New York City! 

And I’ll be posting new music video soon.  The Queen has consented to be my camera person. 

I’m also entering the 48 Hour Film Project in New York City.  Check out the website for the details.  I’ll be blogging about this project, and I hope that a number of other New York blogs will also cover the competition.  Peter and the Queen have agreed to help me with this project.

The big upcoming event, of course, will be my first tattoo… photos and video, of course!  My Shouting Thomas! site will be redesigned around pictures of that tattoo.

As much as it hurts, I’ve got to go back out there and gig without my beloved Myrna.  To the extent that I can, I want to put grieving and mourning behind me.  Myrna loved life.  She loved having a good time more than any person I’ve ever met. 

I’ll keep you posted.  I might be playing in your area sooner than you think.
