Tin Soldiers and Nixon Coming

Liberal Larry provides us with the definitive statement on the Toledo riots:

“… [W]hen a small band of Republicans descended upon a predominantly black Toledo neighborhood to denounce its residents as subhuman animals prone to violence, the community came together to prove them wrong by rioting, looting, and throwing rocks at police officers.”

In fact, the real rioters were the white supremacists, as ABC continues to tell us.  The white supremacists went home before the riots started, but they are still to blame. Obviously.

John Rosenberg over at Discriminations has remained silent on this one. I’d like to hear what he has to say.  In fact, I’m dying to hear what Cobra has to say on this issue.

The Nazis who intended to stage the rally offended the Toledo neighborhood with unseemly displays of Plumber’s Butt! Only weeks ago, our insider correspondents tell us, one of the Nazis was called in to plug the leak in a sink at a housing project. He crawled under the sink and outraged the poor oppressed inhabitants by displaying the foul butt crack in the picture at top right of this post.

The poor black residents of Toledo suffered the ultimate humiliation:  They were forced to look at the preposterously ugly butt crack of some racist cracker. Outraged beyond human endurance, they took to the streets to avenge themselves by burning down Lou’s Bar.  What else could they do?

And, as Liberal Larry says:  “As a Professym of Midget Studies and Kama Sutra at Evergreen, I teach my students that acts of violence like those we saw in Toledo are unacceptable...but understandable and completely excusable.”

Amen, to that brother.
